Luis Miguel Caceres Pure

Luis Miguel Caceres Pure is a Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at the Faculty of Experimental Sciences, University of Huelva, where he leads the RNM293 Environmental Geomorphology and Water Resources research group and contributes to the Research Center on Historical, Cultural, and Natural Heritage.

He earned his Doctorate from the University of Huelva in 1995 with a thesis titled "Geomorphology of the western sector of the Guadalquivir depression", supervised by Dr. Joaquín Rodríguez Vidal and Dr. L. Clemente.

Professor Caceres Pure specializes in Geomorphology with concentrated expertise in Environmental Geomorphology and Water Resources, focusing on External Geodynamics processes within the Guadalquivir depression basin. His research integrates geomorphological analysis with water resource management and natural heritage conservation, addressing regional environmental sustainability challenges through field-based studies of landscape evolution.
