Ludmila STRIUKOVA is a Professor at SKEMA Business School, holding roles as Associate Dean for the Innovation Academy and former Head of the Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Economics department. She has held academic positions at institutions including University College London, King’s College, LSE, and Euromonitor since 2001. Her research focuses on disruptive technologies (3D printing, IoT, blockchain), business model innovation, and intellectual property management. Education includes a HDR from Université de Strasbourg (2018), a PhD from Birkbeck, University of London (2005), and dual MSc degrees from Kingston University (2001) and Moscow Technical University (2000).
Her research interests span business model innovation, enterprise 4.0, social entrepreneurship, and open innovation. Key contributions include studies on 3D printing’s impact on entrepreneurship and co-creation dynamics in digital platforms. She has been a Senior Fellow at the UK Higher Education Academy (2016) and serves as Senior Editor for the International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management. Her work emphasizes Fab Labs, open source hardware, and the interplay between technology and consumer behavior.
Ludmila has published widely on topics such as digital rights management, university-industry knowledge exchange, and the role of social capital in virtual teams. She has advised startups and spoken at industry events, bridging academic research with practical business challenges. Her current affiliations include the SKEMA Centre for Sustainability Studies, contributing to sustainability-driven innovation initiatives.
