Lucía Durá

Dr. Lucía Durá is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), part of the College of Liberal Arts. She holds a Ph.D. from UTEP and maintains affiliations with multiple organizations including the Texas Center for Legal Ethics board of trustees, the Hispanic Servingness Research Council at UTEP, the SEA Change Core Team, and the Alliance of Hispanic Universities Task Force. Her research emphasizes leveraging community assets to address complex challenges through risk dialogue and sustainable change design.

Education: Ph.D., University of Texas at El Paso. Professional roles include co-editing Technical Communication and Social Justice with Jerry Savage.
