Lucy Sheehan is a Research Fellow (Trial Coordinator) in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of York. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary research bridging mental health and cardiovascular medicine, with a strong emphasis on clinical trials and patient-centered interventions.

She leads trials like DIAMONDS, targeting diabetes self-management in mental health populations, and OPAL2, optimizing return-to-work programs after hip/knee replacement surgeries. Her expertise in translational medicine and randomized controlled trials reflects a commitment to improving healthcare outcomes through evidence-based interventions.
