Lucy Gannon

Lucy Gannon is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Interior Design at Manchester School of Art, Manchester Metropolitan University. She is also a practicing designer at Broadbent Studio, specializing in cross-disciplinary projects that bridge interior design, public art, and urban regeneration. Her academic work focuses on integrating sustainability, design theory, and contextual practice into student learning experiences.

Her recent works include the Bradford Pit Memorial (2024) and Global Patterns (2024), which explore industrial heritage, sustainable materials, and community identity. These projects highlight her focus on narrative-driven design and interdisciplinary collaboration.
