Luciano Cid is an Associate Professor and Director of Elementary Education at Biola University’s School of Education. Cid’s research bridges education, neuroscience, psychology, and spirituality, focusing on redemptive classroom management systems that integrate Judeo-Christian principles with educational psychology. His work also addresses gender and ethnic diversity gaps in teaching staff and pedagogical innovations beyond traditional taxonomies.
His awards include Harvard’s Magna Cum Laude (2004), multiple AmeriCorps Education Awards, and finalist recognition for Harvard’s Faculty Tribute Award (2011). He has presented at conferences like the Southern California Gathering of Christian Educators and the Hawaii International Conference on Education, addressing topics such as mathematical reasoning and student-teacher diversity dynamics.
