Lucian Claudiu Anghel

Lucian Claudiu Anghel serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Management, National School of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA), bringing extensive practical experience from the financial sector to his academic role. He simultaneously holds the position of CEO at Banca Românească and previously served for 8 years as President of the Bucharest Stock Exchange Council.

With 25 years of professional experience in the financial-banking domain, Anghel has held numerous leadership positions including chief economist, restructuring plan coordinator for privatization, deputy treasurer, and strategy director. His career spans executive roles at banks and pension funds, service on Boards of Directors for asset managers (mutual funds), and work as an external expert for the World Bank.

Anghel is a passionate advocate for economic education, authoring a bestseller on the subject published by Tritonic. In 2020, he launched the YouTube channel "Despre bani" (About Money), dedicated to financial education for Romanian youth, which has become a valuable resource appreciated by students at the Faculty of Management for its accessibility and practical approach to financial literacy.
