Lucia Rotger Garcia

Dr. Lucia Rotger Garcia is an Assistant Professor at the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of the Balearic Islands, specializing in Mathematics Didactics. She graduated in Mathematics from the University of the Balearic Islands in 2012 and has been a teaching assistant at the same institution since then.

• Teaches Mathematics for Primary Education (2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26)
• Supervises Final Degree Projects in Primary Education (2024-25, 2025-26)
• Teaches Discrete Mathematics (Mathematics and Computer Engineering degrees)
• Teaches Mathematics II (Biology degree)

Her research focuses on computational biology, particularly in phylogenetics and evolutionary biology. She is a member of the Computational Biology research group (BIOCOM).
