Lucia Pallottino

Lucia Pallottino is Full Professor at the University of Pisa and Director of the Research Center 'E. Piaggio'. She holds a Ph.D. in Robotics and Industrial Automation from University of Pisa and specializes in motion planning, multi-robot coordination, and distributed algorithms.

Research focuses on:

• Distributed coordination of robot fleets
• Optimal path planning
• Human-robot interaction safety
• Whole-body control systems

Publications address fundamental challenges in multi-agent coordination, safety guarantees in shared environments, and humanoid robot control.
