Lucia Notterpek, Ph.D., is a Professor and Associate Dean of Research in the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno’s School of Medicine. She previously held roles including Chair and Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Florida (2009–2020). Her research focuses on peripheral neuropathies, glial biology, lipid metabolism, and therapies for demyelinating disorders. She actively mentors students and junior scientists in neuroscience research.
