Lucas Pozzo-Miller is a Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), with additional affiliations in Cell, Developmental and Integrative Biology; Psychology; and Neurology. His research focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly Rett syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, and Alzheimer's disease, examining synaptic plasticity, neuronal circuitry, and molecular mechanisms.
