Luc Maranget

Luc Maranget is a Researcher at Inria Paris working within the Cambium project. His primary research focuses on weak memory models, concurrency, formal verification, and computer architecture. He has made significant contributions to understanding memory models in modern architectures including ARM, x86, and RISC-V.

Maranget's research interests center around the formal modeling of memory consistency in modern processor architectures. He has developed theoretical frameworks for understanding relaxed memory models across multiple architectures and has created practical tools like the diy testing suite for validating memory models.
