Dr. Lourens van Haaften is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, affiliated with the Department of Pedagogy. Specializing in the history of education and transnational knowledge networks, his work focuses on South Asia, particularly India's management education and higher education policies. He holds a Ph.D. from KU Leuven (2021), with research supported by the EU Marie Curie program. His expertise includes the geopolitical dimensions of educational cooperation, colonial-era testing systems, and transnational religious influences on education.
