Louise Murphy is an Associate Professor at the University of Limerick (UL), affiliated with the School of Nursing & Midwifery and the Health Research Institute. She holds leadership roles, including Course Director for the BSc Nursing (Mental Health) Programme. Her research focuses on mental health nursing, psychosocial interventions, and methodologies like mixed methods and systematic reviews. She has collaborated on national and international projects and contributed to organizations like the Irish Institute of Mental Health Nursing.
Education: PhD in cancer-related fatigue and depression in breast cancer (focus on mixed methods).
Research Interests: Mental health recovery, trials methodology, and nursing education. Teaching focuses on recovery, simulation, and psychosocial interventions.
