Louise McNally

Louise McNally is a researcher at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in the Department of Translation and Language Sciences. She co-Editor-in-Chief of the open-access journal Semantics and Pragmatics (S&P), a member of the Annual Review of Linguistics editorial committee, and an advisory board member for the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Linguistics.

Her research focuses on:

• Natural Language Interpretation: Explaining how meanings are associated with phrases and sentences.
• Formal Semantics: Structural analysis of linguistic expressions.
• Vector-Based and Information-Theoretic Models: Modern approaches to meaning.

She is affiliated with research groups such as:
