Louise Jarvis

Louise Jarvis is a part-time Lecturer in the Department of Politics, Languages & International Studies at the University of Bath. She has taught consecutive and simultaneous interpreting to Masters students on the MAIT course since 2000. Her professional work includes freelance translation and conference interpreting for international organizations such as the EU institutions, International Court of Justice, European Patent Office, and European Central Bank. She is a member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) and serves as President of Calliope-Interpreters, a globally recognized network of consultant interpreters endorsed by AIIC.
