Louise Coverdale is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield, contributing to the BA Early Primary Course and PGCE Primary Course. She serves as the strategic lead for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and tutors in Physical Education and Music while also contributing to the Safeguarding Module across multiple programs. Prior to her academic role, she spent 20 years in primary teaching, including leadership positions as a Special Educational Needs Co-coordinator, History Subject Leader, and Deputy/Acting Headteacher.
