Louise Clare Baird

Dr Louise Clare Baird is a Medical Educator at UNSW Medicine & Health with a focus on geriatric medicine and aged care. She serves as Convenor and Supervisor for Aged Care and Rehabilitation students at the St George Clinical Campus, UNSW Sydney.

Her clinical and research interests include:

• Geriatric assessment and acute geriatrics
• Falls prevention and osteoporotic fractures
• Delirium and dementia management, including behavioral symptoms of advanced dementia
• Frailty modeling in elderly populations

Dr. Baird holds qualifications in:

• MB BS (Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery)
• BSc Med Honours Class 2 Division 2
• FRACP (Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians) in Geriatric Medicine
• Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching
• AMusA (Associate of the Music Examinations Board of Australia) in Violin

She was recognized for teaching excellence in 2024 and contributes to curriculum development and clinical examination processes at UNSW's St George Campus.
