Louise Bennet is an Adjunct Professor at Lund University's Faculty of Medicine, specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, and epidemiology. As Principal Investigator (PI) for the MEDIM study (2200 participants) and regional PI for the nationwide SMARTEST clinical trial, her research focuses on type 2 diabetes, metabolic complications, and vaccination programs in vulnerable populations.
