Louis-Pierre Bélec is an Assistant Professor at the McEwen School of Architecture, Laurentian University. He coordinates the Archi·North Architecture Summer Camp and holds a part-time teaching role at Collège Boréal. A Franco-Ontarian Intern Architect with experience in Canada, France, and Switzerland, he focuses on adaptive reuse of vacant Azorean architecture and cultural heritage preservation.

His work includes ongoing studies on his thesis ‘Reoccupying Ruins in the Azores: Shifting Spaces, Materials, and Culture on the Islands of Terceira and Graciosa,’ initiated in 2018. Louis-Pierre’s professional background spans international architectural practice and education.
