Louis Lebel is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Université Laval, and a legal advisor at Langlois Lawyers (since 2015). Formerly a Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada (2000-2014) and a partner at Quebec-based law firms, he has made significant contributions to legal scholarship, particularly in labor law. He has taught as a visiting professor at both Université Laval and the University of Ottawa.
- Education: Graduate Diploma in Private Law (Université Laval, 1965), Master of Laws (University of Toronto, 1966).
- Leadership Roles: President of Barreau du Québec (1983-1984), Vice-President (1982-1983), and board member of the Corporation du Centre communautaire juridique de Québec (1973-1975).
- Research Interests: Span law, economics, politics, and humanities, with a focus on labor law and interdisciplinary legal analysis.
