Louis-David Benyayer serves as an Associate Professor at ESCP Business School's Paris campus within the Information & Operations Management department, where he also holds the strategic position of AI Initiatives Coordinator for the institution. With over 20 years of combined academic and professional experience, he bridges theoretical research with practical business applications in the digital domain.
Dr. Benyayer's research program focuses on the strategic implications of digital technologies, with particular emphasis on big data and artificial intelligence. His recent investigations explore data sharing business models and analyze the adoption drivers of both Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial Intelligence across various organizational contexts. His interdisciplinary approach connects technological innovation with business strategy formulation.
As an academic leader, Dr. Benyayer has designed and launched several significant educational programs. He served as Scientific co-director of the MSc in Big Data and Business Analytics in Paris from 2018 to 2023, a program that achieved #6 worldwide ranking according to QS in 2023, and of the Executive MSc in Big Data and Business Analytics in Dubai from 2022 to 2024. He leverages his extensive industry network to develop customized executive education programs supporting organizations in digital transformation.
Dr. Benyayer earned his PhD from Dauphine University and his Master Degree from ESCP Business School. His professional background includes developing a strategy consultancy business over two decades that served both large corporations and SMEs, involvement in two start-up ventures, and leading a recovery plan for a bankrupt company, providing him with practical insights that enrich his academic work.
