Louis Collins is a Full Professor at McGill University's Faculty of Medicine, holding joint appointments in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering and Neurology and Neurosurgery. He has held roles including Associate Professor (2006) and Full Professor (2011), and was honored with the James McGill Professorship (2019). His research focuses on medical imaging and neuroimaging, particularly in developing computational techniques for neurological disorders like Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis. He leads the Neuroimaging and Surgical Technologies Laboratory at the McConnell Brain Imaging Center.
