Louella Sween is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at CUNY School of Professional Studies, teaching ECE 604 (Supervision of Early Childhood Teachers). She holds a Doctor of Education from Northcentral University and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Brooklyn College. With 20+ years in education, she serves as an Education Director at a Queens preschool, overseeing teacher development.
Her research examines equity in early childhood education, particularly through the lens of immigrant women of color. Her 2024 publication addresses quality conversations in urban educational settings.
