Lorri Allen serves as a Mass Communication General Manager and Adjunct Lecturer at The University of Texas at Tyler, combining a 30-year broadcasting career with academic leadership. She previously served as news director at Tyler’s CBS affiliate, where her team earned two Edward R. Murrow regional awards. Her professional roles have spanned reporter, anchor, producer, and weather forecaster across markets including East Texas, Dallas-Fort Worth, Atlanta, Tucson, and Phoenix.
