Lorna Howlett

Lorna Howlett is a Visiting Professor at the Climate Change Cluster (C3) within the Faculty of Science at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She specializes in coral reef ecology and restoration, focusing on climate change impacts and innovative restoration techniques. Her research integrates ecological, economic, and microbiological perspectives to address coral reef conservation challenges.

Education and certifications include PADI DiveMaster and Australian Maritime Safety Authority Coxswain Grade 1 (near coastal). Her funded research projects include coral restoration practices and tourism-led restoration initiatives on the Great Barrier Reef.
