Lorna Anderson is part-time Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education at Queen Margaret University and Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Education Studies (Primary). Her expertise focuses on language education, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) instruction and implementation of Scotland's 1+2 languages policy.

- Bilingual parent-teacher partnerships
Current doctoral research employs ethnographic methods to examine bilingual partnerships in second language teaching across four Glasgow primary schools.
