Lorie Sauble-Otto

Lorie Sauble-Otto is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of French & Italian at the University of Arizona and holds the title of Professor Emerita of World Languages and Cultures (French) from the University of Northern Colorado. She earned her MA (1994) and PhD (2001) from the University of Arizona. Her research focuses on 20th and 21st century French literature, with particular emphasis on women in French cultural contexts.

Currently teaching FREN 101 – Elementary French I, she is affiliated with the College of Humanities. Her office is located in 551 Modern Languages Building, Tucson, AZ, with Spring 2025 office hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00–4:00 PM, or by appointment.
