Lori Soderlind is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Skidmore College. She earned her B.A. from Lehigh University and an M.F.A. in nonfiction writing from Columbia University.

Her research and teaching focus on Creative Nonfiction, Memoir, Narrative Journalism, and Media Studies. Her work explores intersections of personal storytelling, cultural critique, and regional identity.
Key publications include The Change: My Great American, Postindustrial, Midlife Crisis Tour (2020) and Chasing Montana: A Love Story (2006). She has also contributed essays to anthologies like Nothing to Declare and Best Creative Nonfiction.
