Dr. Lori Renda-Francis is a Lecturer and Content Developer in the Department of Rural Resilience and Innovation at Appalachian State University. With over 35 years of experience, she specializes in veterinary technician education and program leadership. Her credentials include an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology (Macomb Community College), BBA (Rochester College), M.Ed. (Central Michigan University), and a PhD in Organizational Management/Leadership (Capella University).
Her research focuses on veterinary education methodologies, organizational leadership in clinical settings, and curriculum design for veterinary professionals. She has authored a veterinary assistant textbook for Wiley-Blackwell Publishing and maintains active involvement in national veterinary education standards.
