Lori Newcomb, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Language and Literature at Wayne State College (WSC), where she has taught since 2008. She holds a Ph.D. in American Literature from the University of South Dakota (2014), an MSE in English Education from WSC (1997), and a BAE in English Education and Psychology from WSC (1991).
Her teaching and research focus on gender studies, film studies, works by Paul Auster and Olaudah Equiano, and language arts education. She integrates service learning into her courses and supervises student teacher observations in eastern Nebraska schools.
