Dr. Jill Craven is a Professor in the Department of English & World Languages at Millersville University, affiliated with the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and a B.S. in Mathematical Science/Computer Science from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on Film Studies, Critical Theory, Narrative Studies, and Women's Studies, with a particular interest in authors like Faulkner and theorists such as Foucault, Bakhtin, and Arendt. She teaches courses ranging from World Literature to Film History and serves as Chair of Gender Issues and Social Justice Committee, DEI Liaison, and Coordinator of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
