Lori Fields is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology and Geography at Coastal Carolina University. Her research focuses on ethnoprimatology, particularly examining interactions between humans and nonhuman primates in the Visayan region of the Philippines, including tarsiers and long-tailed macaques. She emphasizes the role of indigenous knowledge and ecotourism in conservation efforts.
