Lori Doan

Lori Doan (she/her) is a Lecturer and SoTL Developer at the Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning at the University of Manitoba. She collaborates on SoTL projects, offers faculty consultations, and designs workshops on teaching, learning, and well-being.

• Education: B.A. (Hons), M.A., Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Manitoba.

Her research focuses on the interplay between instructor/student well-being and pedagogy, alongside international student experiences in Canadian higher education. She has co-authored publications on ethics in SoTL and evidence-based practice transfer in higher education.

• Current Affiliations: Department of Psychology, International College of Manitoba (ICM), Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning.

Lori's 2022 publications and conference presentations address well-being in adult learning and ethical frameworks for SoTL. She collaborates with Brenda M. Stoesz and Anika Budhiraja on these initiatives.
