Associate Professor Lori Delaney is a faculty member at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Nursing and Midwifery and holds an adjunct position at the University of Queensland. With a PhD from ANU and extensive intensive care nursing experience, she drives research on sleep's therapeutic role in critical illness recovery. Her work intersects clinical environments, circadian rhythms, and delirium mitigation, supported by collaborations with healthcare designers and the NHMRC-funded DEFENCE study.
