Lori Beaman is a Professor in the Department of Economics at Northwestern University, affiliated with the Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences. She holds a PhD from Yale University (2007) and is an associate editor of the Journal of Development Economics. Her research focuses on social networks in labor markets, agricultural technology adoption, and women's mobility. She has received a National Science Foundation Early Career Development grant and collaborates with institutions like the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab.
