Lori Baruth is a Professor of Music (Clarinet) at Morehead State University, Kentucky, where she has served since 2007. She earned her DMA from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (2010), Master of Music (2004), and dual Bachelor's degrees (1999) from The Ohio State University, graduating summa cum laude.
As a performing artist, she has held principal clarinet positions in multiple orchestras including the Huntington Symphony Orchestra and Cave Run Symphony Orchestra. She co-founded the Trifecta! clarinet-bassoon-piano trio (2015 album Cumulus Accumulation) and the Solidago Reed Trio (2019), both of which have performed internationally. Her pedagogical work includes teaching roles in Brazil and hosting the MSU Clarinet Day event.

Academic Service: Faculty advisor for Sigma Alpha Iota, Pi Kappa Lambda, and Phi Kappa Phi chapters at MSU. Regularly coaches and adjudicates in Ohio/Kentucky Youth Orchestra programs.
