Lorenzo Capone serves as an Assistant Researcher at IMDEA Nanociencia, a leading research institute specializing in nanoscience and nanotechnology. Since joining in February 2024, he has been actively contributing to the Nanocarbons and Organic Photovoltaics research group, focusing on cutting-edge materials development for next-generation solar energy conversion technologies.

His research expertise spans nanotechnology and renewable energy systems, with concentrated specialization in carbon-based nanomaterials and organic photovoltaic devices. Capone's work involves advanced synthesis and characterization of nanocarbons—including graphene and carbon nanotubes—to enhance the efficiency, stability, and manufacturability of organic solar cells through innovative materials engineering approaches.
