Lokesh Mano

Lokesh Mano is a Researcher at Lund University, affiliated with the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the Department of Immunotechnology. He serves as a project coordinator for EPI@BIO and is a manager at the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS). His work integrates computational tools and genomics to study microbial ecology, evolution, and their environmental and health impacts.

His research spans bioinformatics, microbial genomics, and environmental health, focusing on climate change effects on soil microbiomes, gut-oral microbiome interactions in HIV, and dietary influences on microbiota. He leads the SOILCLIM project (2017–2019), addressing soil biodiversity under climate change, and contributes to NBIS infrastructure.
