Lo May Chiun

Lo May Chiun is a Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), and a former Senior Director of the UNIMAS Research, Innovation & Enterprise Centre. With a Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour from University Science Malaysia and a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, her expertise spans strategic management, sustainable tourism, organisational behaviour, and technology development.

Her research has produced 164 journal articles, five books, 96 conference papers, and 29 edited books/proceedings. She has secured RM 27.8 million in grants from agencies like ERASMUS+, the Japan Foundation, and FRGS.

Lo May Chiun’s work has earned her gold medals at international exhibitions such as the Business Invention Show (UK) and iENA (Germany). She has supervised 34 Ph.D., 7 Doctor of Business Administration, and 61 master’s students, with 14 Ph.D., 4 DBA, and 57 master’s graduates.
