Llandis Barratt-Pugh is an Honorary Research Fellow in the Marketing Department at the UWA Business School. His research focuses on managing learning across organizational and theoretical domains, with emphasis on vocational education, digital entrepreneurship, and tourism destination networks. He has held senior academic roles including Associate Dean Research at ECU and has extensive industry experience in training management in the UK.
Education includes a PhD in Management from UWA (2004), Master of Business (HRM) from Curtin University (1996), and qualifications in tertiary teaching (Edith Cowan University, 2007). His teaching expertise spans entrepreneurship, leadership, and research methods.
Research interests include organizational knowledge management, safety culture in construction, bullying in higher education, and pedagogical innovations in Chinese higher education. Key awards include the AVETRA Ray Barker Award (2023) and multiple teaching excellence citations.
Over 100 publications and 40+ research grants highlight his impact in VET research, including a $400k Victorian Skills Authority grant (2023). He has supervised 30+ HDR students and holds editorial roles in the International Journal of Training Research.
