Liz Stuart

Liz Stuart is a Lecturer in Computing Science at Ulster University's School of Computing, Belfast campus. Her work focuses on health data technologies and user-centered design.

Her 2024 publication in JMIR Research Protocol details a co-design methodology for real-time health data capture in epilepsy seizure forecasting. She leads the 2025 EPSRC-funded project "Artificial intelligence To Optimise Seizure Prediction to Empower people with Epilepsy," aiming to develop a minimum viable product for seizure prediction.
