Liz Ford is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Portsmouth, affiliated with the School of Strategy, Marketing and Innovation within the Faculty of Business & Law. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has been teaching since 2010. Recognized for her teaching excellence, she received the 2012 Postgraduate Choice Award. Her professional background includes marketing in the not-for-profit sector.
Education: BSc Entertainment Technology (University of Portsmouth), MA Digital Marketing, and a PhD in Ageing and Online Consumer Behaviour (University of Portsmouth).
Research focuses on sustainable consumption, not-for-profit marketing, crowdfunding, microfinance, and ageing consumers. Collaborations include projects with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust (engaging youth in biodiversity issues) and Lendwithcare (microfinance lender motivations). Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
