Liz Aylott is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Entrepreneurship & Finance at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law, University of East London. With over 21 years of experience in HR and academia, she focuses on Employment Law, Employee Relations, and student-centered teaching. She holds an MSc in HRM and Industrial Relations.

- Research Interests: HRM, Organisational Justice, Student Experience Equity, Mental Health, and Disability in HE
Her work bridges practical HR challenges and educational innovation, notably exploring digital equity in student learning and Positive Action initiatives with the CIPD. Recent publications address GAI in assessment and diversity in workplaces.
Liz actively contributes to professional development, co-authoring textbooks like Employee Relations: A Practical Introduction and Employment Law: A Practical Introduction. She has collaborated with Pearson on HNC modules and served as an Employment Tribunal Member (2015-2019).
