Liv Haselbach, Ph.D., is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Lamar University. She specializes in sustainable construction, life cycle assessment (LCA), flood resiliency, and environmental engineering. Previously, she held positions at Washington State University and the University of South Carolina. Her research focuses on permeable pavement systems, LCA methodologies, and green construction practices. Dr. Haselbach has been recognized with awards such as the 2019 Texas Engineer of the Year and the 2016 Exceptional Professor Award.

She has developed LCA learning modules organized into groups (A, α, B, β, etc.), emphasizing ISO compliance and transportation applications. Recent publications explore topics like feedstock energy reporting, deicer impacts on pervious concrete, and carbon sequestration in concrete pavements.
