Liv Anne Danbolt

Liv Anne Danbolt is a PhD student at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies, Faculty of Teacher Education and Pedagogy, University of Inland Norway. She is employed as a doctoral fellow in the Professional Teacher Education (PROFF) program, focusing on the transition from kindergarten to school and the role of musical practices in this process.

Her research explores how music pedagogy can facilitate children's adaptation to school environments. Her master's thesis analyzed musical interaction in kindergartens using audio files from the Trall music app developed at OsloMet. Her current doctoral project extends this to investigate transitions in educational contexts.

Recent publications highlight her focus on musical practices, observational methods, and the integration of arts in early childhood education. She examines non-verbal communication, diverse expressions, and pedagogical adaptation during transitions.
