Lisette van Beek is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Political Science, Lund University, and a Visiting Research Fellow at LUCSUS (Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies). She is also a member of the LU Profile Area: Nature-based Future Solutions.
Her research focuses on imaginaries of climate and nature, the role of experts in environmental politics, and art-science approaches to envision sustainable futures. At Lund University, she contributes to the NATURESCAPES project, which explores urban nature imaginaries, and has taught courses on futuring and sustainability.
Combining critical interpretative methods with transdisciplinary collaborations involving artists, activists, and policymakers, Lisette bridges Science and Technology Studies with sustainability governance.
