Liselotte Englund is a Deputy Dean and Assistant Professor at Karlstad University, specializing in trauma journalism, crisis communication, and psychotraumatology. She holds a Ph.D. in Journalism from Gothenburg University and is a docent in Journalism. Her research focuses on journalistic practices during disasters, media interaction with survivors, and government crisis communication.
Key affiliations include the Swedish Psychotrauma Society, Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma (as Scandinavian contact), and roles in university governance. She has led projects for Swedish authorities and international bodies, including evaluations of crisis management during the 2011 Norway attacks.
