Lisel Alice Murdock-Perriera

Lisel Alice Murdock-Perriera is an Associate Professor in Early Childhood Studies at Sonoma State University, with additional academic appointments as Visiting Assistant Professor at Alder Graduate School of Education and Adjunct Associate Professor at Mills College. Her scholarly work explores intersections among race, language, power, and social justice in early childhood classrooms and teacher-preparation programs.

Across her 2018-2019 publications, a clear focus emerges on belonging, expectancy processes, and diversity initiatives in educational environments, blending social-psychological theory with classroom-level application.
