Prof. Lise Lotte Gluud is a Professor of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Copenhagen and a consultant hepatologist at Copenhagen University Hospital Hvidovre since 2013, previously working at Gentofte University Hospital (2009-2013). She graduated from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences in 1995, completed clinical training in 1998, and earned an MSc in 2005 evaluating bias in clinical intervention research.

Research Interests: Prof. Gluud specializes in liver diseases with emphasis on non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and cirrhosis-related complications, investigating inflammation and steatosis mechanisms in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) pathophysiology.
Professional Leadership: She chairs the National Clinical Guideline for NAFLD Management and the Danish Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (DSGH) Guideline Committee, serves as Section Editor for PLOS ONE, Editor for the Cochrane Hepato-Biliary Group, and participates in multiple Cochrane methodological groups while holding membership on the National Committee on Health Research Ethics and DSGH Research Committee.
